What is a broken bone? A broken bone happens when one of your bones becomes cracked or broken into multiple pieces. It’s also known as a  FRACTURE . It can result from a sports injury, accident, or violent trauma. Broken bones usually aren’t life threatening, but they do require immediate medical care.  What are the symptoms of a broken bone? A broken bone can cause one or more of the following signs and symptoms: intense pain in the injured area that gets worse when you move it numbness in the injured area bluish color, swelling, or visible deformity in the injured area heavy bleeding at the injury site What first aid should be provided? Those canine teeth can bite or scratch. FIRST  AID  FOR DIFFERENT  KINDS  OF INJURIES By the  end  of today's  lesson you will be  able to  :- Write  the  first aid   that  is  to  be  given in  case  of  burns , minor and severe  burns . Explain the  first  aid  given  for  minor  and  major  injuries.                                         FIRST  AID   FOR   MINOR  BURNS What  are  burns??................. Burns and scalds are damage to the skin caused by heat. Both are treated in the same way. A burn is caused by dry heat – by an iron or fire, for example.  A scald is caused by something wet, such as hot water or steam.
